Nursery Design Board: Starry Night

My latest nursery design project! My client wanted some version of the great outdoors, she knew the colors she wanted, and also requested something not terribly 'baby' to fit in her modern house.

The navy in her palette inspired me to look beyond the usual woodland nursery, up into the sky! Using the constellations for inspiration, I was able to bring in all the cute woodland animals but keep it fresh and different.

We're going with a gray crib, and the wallpaper will be the main feature on that wall. The other wall, we'll keep white and tie in the wallpaper with the personalized nursery art trio and the mint dresser. The fun triangle curtains will really tie it all together!

I am just loving the mix of patterns in the rug and curtains, and the sleek lines of that gorgeous mint dresser. The sputnik-inspired chandelier added the final 'outer space' touch without being too over the top.
